Two affordable art exhibitions opening Friday 9 December.

All Things Great and Small, Studio Altenburg, opening night Friday 9 December.

Artists and art lovers are flocking to Braidwood and the sheer diversity of local talent is on display in Studio Altenburg’s annual end-of-year showAll Things Great and Small.

There’s 40 local artists exhibiting together in this show that runs from 8 December – 14th January 2023 including Kate Carruthers, Jane Kendall, Gail Nichols, Fran Ifould, Naomi Taylor Royds and Ray Monde.

All artists were challenged to create works on birch board, each measuring 28×35.5cm (11″ x 14″). The dramatic effect of similar sized works is you’ll see each artist’s unique style, side by side.

Linden Postcard Show, Linden New Art, opening night Friday 9 December.

The iconic Linden Postcard Show returns for its 32nd year. With over 1,000 mini masterpieces to see – every work measuring exactly 8 x 10” – this exhibition will include work by artists at all stages of their career, from across Australia. 

Just like the exhibition in Braidwood, all these works are the same size and are exhibiting in the Linden New Art space, Bunurong Boon Wurrung Country, 26 Acland Street, St Kilda.

A lot of famous Australian artists have been part of the Linden show and it’s a great opportunity to get your hands on great Australian art. The exhibition runs from 10 December 2022 to 26 February 2023.
